Competed at 135 cm in the Netherlands as a young horse with breeder Jos Wouters.
Carina W comes from the well-known Kieni line in the Netherlands (jumping line 61/breeding family 298). This line has produced numerous approved stallions and Grand Prix horses in both show jumping and dressage, making it one of the most famous in KWPN. The dam, Wiardi, is a half-sister to Be Brave (140 cm, by Cartano) ridden by Dave Maarse. Also, Basic (by Berlin), who has competed at the highest levels with Guy Williams, Phillip Miller, and John Crippen, and won several Grand Prix classes, including the Sunshine Tour, is directly from this family. The granddam, Leonie (by Concorde), is also the granddam of Eazy-Boy (145 cm, by Eurocommerce Zürich/Faldo).
Larino
Larino, a stallion by Concorde, had an outstanding career at the highest levels of show jumping with Peter Geerink. He has sired numerous successful international horses, such as Apart, Jasmine vd Bisschop, and With Wings, all of whom have competed at 165-170 cm.
