Pirouz is Persian and means ‘victorious.’ His sire is the elite stallion Tobajo Picez, who has produced approved stallions and Grand Prix horses in both showjumping and dressage. His dam is S.E. Miss Pogany, Norway’s first Diarado foal, who placed second among the showjumping foals at the 2010 Foal Festival, is RDH-approved, and finished second in the Norwegian Breeders Trophy. She has produced three national winners at the Elite Show and an approved stallion.

His granddam, the elite mare Concordia, competed internationally up to 145 cm until she was eight years old, before being retired to breeding, where she earned her elite status. She is RDH-approved in Denmark (2000) and also received first premium in Norwegian Warmblood (2017).
